粤港澳大湾区地下咸水分布图反映矿化度大于1.0g/L的浅部地下咸水的分布规律，地下咸水是主要环境地质问题之一。粤港澳大湾区地下咸水是高海面时形成的沉积古咸水，分布较广，主要在珠三角河网中南部及滨海平原前缘,含水层岩性为粉细砂、中粗砂、砾卵石。水化学以Cl-Na型为主，包括微咸水、半咸水、咸水3种类型。

The Distribution Map of Shallow Ground Saline Water in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) illustrates the distribution pattern of shallow subsurface saline water with total dissolved solids (TDS) exceeding 1.0 g/L. Ground saline water constitutes one of the major environmental and geological problems in the region. The saline groundwater in the GBA is sedimentary paleo-saline water formed during periods of elevated sea level, with wide distribution primarily concentrated in the central-southern section of the Pearl River Delta river network and the front of the coastal plain. The aquifers here are composed of silt, fine sand, medium-coarse sand, gravel and cobble. Its hydrochemistry is predominantly of the Cl-Na type, covering three categories: brackish water, semi-saline water and saline water.
