Intestinal microbiome of APC min/+ mice treated with Faecalibacterium prausnitzii or Fusobacterium nucleatum.

We fed the APCmin/+ mice, which are highly susceptible to spontaneous intestinal adenoma formation, diets supplemented with or without Faecalibacterium prausnitzii or Fusobacterium nucleatum for 12 weeks and assessed toxicity, the number and size of intestinal polyps, and the expression of pro- and anti-proliferative proteins in the intestine.
