ESC lines and one iPS cell line from different genetic backgrounds were microinjected into E3.5 PH blastocysts, implanted into pseudopregnant females and brought to term. One to three of the resulting male PH chimeras were mated. All offspring were confirmed by SNPs to be paternally derived from the microinjected stem cell lines only.*In the case of the R1 ESC line, sperm from a chimera was used directly in an IVF, yielding a further 75 offspring as a single cohort.
