This dataset includes results data for the study "The evolving distribution of relative humidity conditional upon daily maximum temperature in a warming climate". <br>Files titled with "QR_RH_on_Tmax_***_group*_***.Rdata" are estimated quantiles of relative humidity conditional upon daily maximum temperatures. Where, JUN, JUL, AUG represents months: June, July, August, respectively. Group1, 2, and 3 represent three different time periods: 1990-2005, 2026-2035, 2071-2080. CHI, PHX, NOLA, and NYC represent Chicago, Phoenix, New Orlean, and New York City, respectively. Each file contains three variables: z is the estimated values of relative humidity at specified quantiles; q denotes the 11 selected quantiles (0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.30, 0.40, 0.50, 0.60, 0.70, 0.80, 0.90, 0.95); tmax_sub is the evenly spaced daily maximum temperature intervals.These files are in format of .Rdata, which could be opened and processed by software R or R-studio. <br><br>The Distributions of dew point and heat wave index are converted from the conditional quantiles of relative humidity on temperature. The dew point is calculated based on the equation 4 and 5 of this study. The heat wave index is calculated based on the empirical equation developed by Rothfusz (1990).
