资源简介:

Data repository for: Fully coupled implicit finite-volume algorithm for viscoelastic interfacial flows Corresponding author email: berend.van.wachem@multiflow.org DescriptionThis repository contains the result data associated with the paper "Fully coupled implicit finite-volume algorithm for viscoelastic interfacial flows" by Ayman Mazloum, Gabriele Gennaria, Fabian Denner, and Berend van Wachem. The data supports the validation cases and figures presented in the manuscript and enables reproduction of the plots shown in the paper. Data formatsThe repository contains the following file types: .xmf files: Mesh and field data suitable for visualization with ParaView or compatible open-source tools. .vtu and .pvtu files: Unstructured front mesh data visualizable with ParaView. .txt and .csv files: Raw numerical data used to generate plots in the validation section of the paper. .py files: Python scripts used to reproduce the figures from the raw data. Repository structureThe top-level folders correspond to the subsections of the validation section of the paper. Each folder contains subdirectories with meshes, fields, raw data, and plotting scripts relevant to that validation case. Folder and file names reflect the physical parameters used in the simulations. Lid_driven_CavityThis folder contains data for the lid-driven cavity test cases presented in Section 6.1 of the paper. Subfolders include Wi1_160x160 (Weissenberg number Wi = 1, mesh resolution 160 x 160, Figures 4a and 4b) and Wi5_160x160 (Weissenberg number Wi = 5, mesh resolution 160 x 160, Figures 5a and 5b). The folder also contains a data directory with raw plotting data and the Python script plot_fig4_5.py used to reproduce Figures 4 and 5. Droplet_in_shear_flowThis folder contains data for the droplet in shear flow test cases presented in Section 6.3 of the paper. Subfolders include Wi1 (Wi = 1), Wi4 (Wi = 4), Wi50 (Wi = 50), and Wi10000 (Wi = 10000), all corresponding to Figure 8b. The folder also contains a data directory with raw plotting data and the Python script plot_fig8b.py used to reproduce Figure 8b. Rising_bubbleThis folder contains data for the rising bubble test cases presented in Section 6.4 of the paper. Subfolders include 8_mm3 (bubble volume 8 mm^3, Figure 11a) and 70_mm3 (bubble volume 70 mm^3, Figure 11a). For the 70 mm^3 case, only the meshes of the first and last time steps are included due to file size limitations. The folder also contains a data directory with raw plotting data and the Python script plot_fig11a.py used to reproduce Figure 11a. Software requirementsVisualization of mesh and field data requires ParaView or a compatible visualization tool. Reproduction of plots requires Python 3 with standard scientific libraries such as numpy and matplotlib. License and reuseThe data in this repository is provided for scientific reproducibility and reuse. Please cite the associated paper when using these data.
