The effect of nicotinamide riboside on the intestinal microbial composition of rats, mice and humans

This study investigated the potential effects of the oral supplementation of nicotinamide riboside on the gut microbiota composition in rats, mice, and humans using fecal samples. Moreover, 16S rRNA gene sequencing analysis of jejunum, ileum, cecum, proximal, and distal colon content of rats was also analyzed.
