We determine the role of high fat diet and normal diet induced obesity, progression of differential expression in altering immune response function by RNAseq analysis . We identified several genes that are either upregulated or downregulated upon HFD feeding as compared to ND. We observed several genes upregulated or downregulated in adipose tissue derived immune cells from mice fed with HFD. Gpnmb, CDK18, CTSK, Fam83f, SBK2, Siglec15, Nptx1, Mmp9, Muc1, Timd4, Mmp3, FbIn7, and fat3 are differentially mediated as compared to ND, suggesting that obesity and low grade chronic inflammation may result from altered gene expression mediated by HFD induction.
