TEACHING TYPES OF ACADEMIC WRITING THROUGH MULTIMODAL STRATEGIES: INTEGRATION OF DIGITAL TOOLS AND VISUAL ELEMENTS
收藏资源简介:
This study explores the effectiveness of multimodal strategies in teaching different types of academic writing through the integration of digital tools and visual elements. In contemporary education, academic writing requires not only linguistic competence but also the ability to organize and present ideas using multiple modes of communication. The research aims to examine how multimodal approaches combining text, visuals, and digital platforms enhance students’ writing skills, critical thinking, and coherence in academic discourse. A mixed-methods design was employed, including quantitative analysis of writing performance and qualitative evaluation of learner experiences. The findings indicate that students exposed to multimodal instruction demonstrate significant improvement in structure, argumentation, and clarity of expression. Visual scaffolding and digital tools contributed to better organization of ideas and increased engagement. The study highlights the importance of integrating multimodal resources in academic writing instruction and offers practical recommendations for educators. It also suggests future research directions in technology-enhanced writing pedagogy.
