Building Footprints 2021 Yavapai County

The Buildings 2021 originally started using prior 2019 data and updated it for 2021. These building footprints are outlines of physical structures in Yavapai County. The outlines were extracted three sources; Lidar Level 1 USGS 3DEP September 2021 flights. Other data supplement from City of Prescott Lidar footprints, some Overheld digitizing using November 2021 Vexcel imagery, and using County Assessor Salvaged account data to look for buildings that have been removed. This is the first year the County Assessor Salvaged account data was added to the workflow to evaluate missing structures or to delete existing footprints. Prior 2019 building footprints were collected from the NAIP Imagery extracted from the June/July 2019. This feature class contains building footprints from three data sources:</p><p>LIDAR-derived building footprints from 2021<br><br>City of Prescott building footprints from 2020</p><p>Yavapai County building footprints from 2019</p><p>To create this feature class, a GIS specialist combined data from the three sources listed above.</p><p>The visibility scale for this feature class ranges from 1:5,000,000 (min) to 1:5,000 (max)<span>.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Elevated objects such as roof outlines in aerial imagery may appear displaced with respect to the base of the structure. The orthophotos are spatial referenced by the data collector therefore orthophotos could be off much as +/- 12 feet. Elevated features like tops of buildings are not rectified to their true horizontal position. This offset of the tops of buildings appears as building lean. While the intent of orthophotos is to look straight down, virtually all the displayed orthophoto locations are photographed at some angle. This data is not accurate to survey standards. This product is for informational purposes and may not have been prepared for, or be suitable for legal, engineering, or surveying purposes.
