Dietary richness and evenness vary parabolically with resource abundance: Evidence across populations of a Tibetan bird

This research extends the traditional prediction of optimal foraging theory established since the 1960s. It proposes that both dietary richness and evenness of animals respond to resource abundance in a parabolic rather than monotonously increasing way.
