Transcriptional profiling of spleens from mice challenged with Brucella melitensis with or without prior vaccination.

We isolated RNA from whole spleens of mice challenged with B. melitensis, some of which were vaccinated prior to infection. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis spleens from C57BL/6J mice after two weeks of challenge with Brucella melitensis. Mice also received PBS or the S19 vaccine four weeks prior to challenge.
