Unravelling bird nest arthropod community structure using metabarcoding

Data sets accompanying the titled publication. The file "Emergence_data" contains the results of DNA barcoding of alive insects at the end of the breeding season caught with emergence traps. Congruences with taxa detected from arthropod remains, nest du samples and feathers are marked. The file "bird_nest_arthropod_dust_feather_metabarcoding_data" contains the metabarcoding data for ground arthropod samples, nest dust and feathers. Results are provided per subsample and for each taxon data on foraging ecology and the liekly reason for being detected in a bird nest is listed. This file is the basis for all analyses carried out with the metabarcoding data.
