Disgust sensitivity is negatively associated with immune system activity in early pregnancy: Implications for obstetrical care

This study is a part of a larger prospective longitudinal project focusing on maternal emotional status in pregnancy and its biological correlates. The sample consisted of 78 pregnant women who were recruited between the 4th and 12th weeks of pregnancy. They completed a background questionnaire and questionnaires related to disgust sensitivity (DS-R) and nausea and vomiting (Rhodes index). Dataset also includes cytokine concentrations analyzed from blood samples.
