MODERN APPROACHES TO COMBATING CORRUPTION IN PUBLIC PROCUREMENT

Corruption in public procurement remains a significant challenge that undermines economic efficiency, fair competition, and public trust. This study explores modern approaches to combating corruption by analyzing recent literature and global practices. Particular attention is given to the role of digital technologies, including e-procurement systems and data analytics, in enhancing transparency and reducing discretionary decision-making. The research also examines the importance of institutional reforms, legal frameworks, and stakeholder participation in strengthening accountability. The findings indicate that integrated and technology-driven strategies are more effective than traditional methods. However, their success depends on institutional capacity, political will, and continuous monitoring to address evolving corruption risks.
