Study of human gut microbiota. Study on the gut microbiota of prediabetes

Objective: To study the difference of gut microbiota structure among healthy people, people with prediabetes or diabetes.Methods: Subjects of Sijing Community Health Service Center of Songjiang District were asked to participate in a survey about type 2 diabetes. Feces were collected for gut microbiol DNA extraction. Gut microbiota structure and community were investigated using high-throughput sequencing targeting 16s rRNA gene V3-V4 region.
