Dataset for "A Cross-Disciplinary AI-Assisted Design Framework: AI Use, Design Values, and Value Trade-offs Between Product Engineering, Service, and UI/UX Design"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies "A Cross-Disciplinary AI-Assisted Design Framework: AI Use, Design Values, and Value Trade-offs Between Product Engineering, Service, and UI/UX Design" by Boyeun Lee, Dante Solano, Jongmo Kim, and Leah Chong. The Excel workbook contains 270 populated cases of AI assistance in design practice across workshop cohorts labelled KIDP, UT, and TIC, a framework of four aggregated dimensions and twelve second-order categories, and category and value heatmaps. Each case records the cohort, discipline, design phase, assistance type, original practice and English case descriptions, refined category, aggregated dimension, AI tools, enhanced and impaired values, and mitigation or contextual comments. Text includes Korean and English. Five worksheets provide category definitions, case records, normalized category shares, combined and separate value counts, and normalized enhanced-value and impaired-value heatmaps. The source workbook is preserved without modification. The README explains the fields and interpretation limits. The category heatmap uses a stated denominator of 269, whereas the case worksheet contains 270 populated records. Value heatmaps report value mentions rather than participant counts or causal effects.
