资源简介:
To maintain homeostasis of the body, intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) have multiple sensing mechanisms against nutrients, tastants and microorganisms. Tuft cells and Enteroendocrine cells (EECs) are considered as chemosensory cells in the gut, however, sensing mechanisms of these cells in primates are elusive. We have previously reported that generation of intestinal organoids from macaques to investigate these cell function in primates. We observed differentiation of chemosensory cells by exogenously adding interleukin (IL)-13 or the Notch signaling inhibitor dibenzazepine (DBZ). In this project, these response to the differentiation induction of intestinal organoids derived from jejunum or colon of rhesus macaques were confirmed by RNA-Seq analysis.
