Thisarticleexaminestheroleofthedigitallearningenvironmentindevelopingandenhancingstudents’cognitiveinterestthroughaperson-centereddevelopmentalpedagogicalapproach.Usingamixed-methoddesign,thestudyemployedsurveys,classroomobservations,andteacherinterviews.Findingsdemonstratethatinteractivity,multimediacontent,personalizedtasks,andopportunitiesforself-regulatedlearningsignificantlyincreasestudents’intrinsicmotivationandcognitiveengagement.Theresultsindicatethatperson-centeredpedagogystrengthenstheeffectivenessofdigitaltechnologies.Practicalrecommendationsforimprovingtheorganizationofdigitallessonsareproposed.
