The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created this preliminary Damage Proxy Map (DPM), highlighting areas in Cuba likely damaged by Hurricane Melissa, which made landfall on 29 Oct 2025 as a Category 3 storm. This map was derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellite operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) before (08 Jul 2025 to 24 Oct 2025) and after the event (30 Oct 2025).
