Genome Resource for Pseudomonas eucalypticola NP-1, A Novel Species with Antifungal Activity

Pseudomonas is a widely distributed genus in nature with increasing new species. Pseudomonas eucalypticola was a novel species we reported and showed antifungal activity against several fungal phytopathogens. We report here the whole genome sequence of P. eucalyticola type strain NP-1. Genomic analysis revealed that NP-1 contains one circular DNA Chromosome of 6,372,924 bp length with 63.16% GC content and one circular Plasmid of 28,775 bp length with 56% GC content. The complete genome data of P. ecualyticola will provide valuable resources for future research in plant disease biocontrol.
