Vertebrate faunal remains excavated at the Riverton Site, Illinois (11CW170) under the direction of Joseph R. Caldwell during July and August 1963. Remains were hand troweled and some features were screened with unspecified mesh size (it is presumed that 1/4" mesh was used). Dr. Paul Parmalee analyzed the faunal remains. Dr. Parmalee only recorded attributes for the following variables: taxon, element, completeness (whole vs fragmentary), the number of identified specimens, and miscellaneous comments.
