Microarray analysis was used to identify genes that fluctuated by oxygen-glucose deprivation of mouse astrocytes. Astrocyte-enriched cultures were generated from mixed glial cultures of mice and compared to control samples with 15 hours of oxygen-glucose deprivation. The results showed that 173 genes were upregulated with Fold change >10, P < 0.05. Both Nr4a1 and Nr4a3, which is an orphan nuclear receptor subfamily and known as an immediate early gene, were upregulated. Overall design: Oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD) induced gene experession in mouse astrocyte enriched culture cells was measured at 15h exposure of OGD. One experiments were performed using different samples for the experiment.
