资源简介:
This dataset supports the systematic review and network meta-analysis titled “Clinical Performance of Ormocer-Based versus Methacrylate-Based Resin Composites in Posterior Restorations.”
The objective of the study was to compare and rank the clinical performance of Ormocer-based resin composites against conventional methacrylate-based materials in posterior Class I and II restorations, focusing on key clinical outcomes such as marginal adaptation, restoration fractures, and retention rates.
The repository contains the following components:
Data extraction sheet
Complete study-level data following the PRISMA 2020 framework.
Includes bibliographic information, study design, number of restorations, follow-up time points, materials evaluated (Ormocer, Bis-GMA, UDMA, etc.), and main clinical outcomes.
Meta-analytical datasets
Pairwise and network meta-analysis input files containing treatment codes, event counts, total restorations evaluated, and outcome-specific data at 6, 12, 24, and 36 months.
Data are formatted for direct import into R (packages meta and netmeta).
R scripts and statistical outputs
Annotated R scripts used for model fitting, consistency assessment, ranking estimation (P-scores), and figure generation (forest plots, network graphs, rankograms).
Scripts ensure full computational reproducibility of all analyses presented in the manuscript.
PRISMA 2020 flowchart data
Tabulated summary of record identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion stages.
All data are shared in interoperable formats (.csv, .xlsx, .R) and accompanied by a metadata file describing variable definitions and coding schemes.
This repository adheres to the FAIR data principles, facilitating transparency, reusability, and verification of findings within the dental materials research community.
