This series consists of photographic slides depicting the West Gate Bridge managed by the Photographic Services Section of the Country Roads Board (CRB) from 1960 to 1975.The slides present images from the bridge site on the Yarra River and include various stages of the bridge's construction. Slides prior to and post the collapse of the bridge span in October 1970 are also featured in the series.
