In this study, we presented a framework to systematically benchmark 15 RNA velocity methods from the perspective of accuracy, scalability and stability. To ensure the comprehensiveness and reliability of the comparison, 72 simulated datasets and 189 real datasets under various scenarios are included in our framework. Moreover, we proposed an integrated tool, VeloGIF, allowing users to obtain results from 15 RNA velocity calculation tools simultaneously.
