资源简介:
Theileria orientalis is a tick-borne parasite that has caused outbreaks of clinical theileriosis (Oriental theileriosis) in cattle in Japan, Korea and China and is an emerging pathogen in Australia and New Zealand. Clinical disease is associated with the Ikeda genotype, while other genotypes (such as Chitose and Buffeli) are more associated with asymptomatic cases. This study examines the genome of the pathogenic (Robertson) compared to two apathogenic (Fish Creek and Goon Nure) types of Theileria orientalis.
