Terms included in the models are the effects of season (S; spring/early summer, mid-summer, late summer/fall), geographic location (G; five eastern bases, five central bases, five western bases), mean annual rainfall (R) and mean annual air temperature (T). The seasonal model was clearly the best (lowest AICc value), followed by season/rainfall and temperature models.
