Intercensal Comparisons Using ArcGIS

In this exercise, participants learn how to do a vector overlay of the 1981 Chilliwack CA Boundary on a 2006 Chilliwack CT Thematic Map using ArcGIS. They also learn how to determine the population of an area during a previous census year based on the boundaries of a more current census year.本实训课程中，参训学员将学习如何借助ArcGIS软件，将1981年奇利瓦克普查区（Census Area, CA）边界矢量图层叠加至2006年奇利瓦克普查地段（Census Tract, CT）专题地图上；同时掌握依据最新普查年份的区域边界，推算此前普查年份对应区域人口总量的方法。
