In this study, a novel multi-component solute transport and chemical reaction numerical model, named UBMOD-CHEM, was developed based on the mass balance scheme. The water movement and solute transport modules were grounded on previously published mass balance models. The multi-component chemical reaction module comprehensively incorporated 8 free ionic species, 5 mineral species, 10 complexed species, and 4 exchangeable cations, along with precipitation-dissolution reactions, complexation reactions, and exchange reactions. The performance of the proposed model was evaluated through test cases involving synthetic scenarios, controlled laboratory experiment scenarios, as well as complex real-world field conditions. This data is the observed and simulated values of the test cases used in this study.
