A method of manufacturing a panel (100) having a first face (104) and a second face (102) opposite the first face (104)， with the second face (102) having a visual appearance of rails and stiles (112， 114， 116， 118) arranged about an infill panel (120)， the method comprising the steps of: a) providing a substrate (122)， the substrate (122) having a first surface (104) and a second surface (145) opposite the first surface (104)， the first surface (104) defining the first face of the panel (100)， with the second surface (145) having an infill panel region (120)， rail receiving regions， and stile receiving regions; and subsequent to step a) completing the following steps: b) fixing rail pieces (116， 118) to the rail receiving sections to present the appearance of rails on the front face (102); and c) fixing stile pieces (112， 114) to the stile receiving regions to present the appearance of stiles on the front face (102).
