Stability of the murine gut microbiota (sequenced with metagenomes)

Characterization of the murine gut microbiota over the first year of life with no exogenous perturbations. Samples were initially sequenced using 454 technology (DOI: 10.4161/gmic.21008) and resequenced using MiSeq (DOI: 10.1128/AEM.01043-13). The sequences are 2x250 nt reads of the V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene. The data were generated with and without metagenomes to increase the genentic diversity of the DNA on the sequencing run. This dataset was generated with the balancing metagenomes.
