Microplankton abundance at bottle station SEPT-1999-K6@en

Microplankton species composition analysis was performed according to the Utermöhl (1958) inverted microscope method. Samples for the identification and enumeration of larger phytoplankton cells (>5µm), were preserved in alkaline Lugols solution. The following groups: Diatoms, Dinoflagellates and Coccolithophores were determined at species level when possible, or at higher taxonomic levels.本研究采用乌特莫尔倒置显微镜计数法（Utermöhl, 1958）开展微型浮游植物物种组成分析。用于鉴定和计数粒径大于5μm的大型浮游植物细胞的样本，采用碱性鲁哥氏溶液（alkaline Lugols solution）进行固定保存。本研究对硅藻（Diatoms）、甲藻（Dinoflagellates）及颗石藻（Coccolithophores）类群尽可能鉴定至物种水平，若条件不允许则鉴定至更高分类阶元。
