"Posing for the Camera," published by M. Rieder Publishing, Los Angeles, California, USA, postmarked 1906 March 05, to Sarah Smith, Pasadena, California, USA from Long Beach, California, USA. The view shows a Chinese boy, about nine years old, dressed in traditional costume in front of a building in what is presumably the Chinatown area (present Union Station) of Los Angeles. The caption, publishing information and message are on the bottom. "I'm going to drop you a line." -- first line. On the reverse is the address, stamp, two postmarked and a cancellation. With the upper right corner very creased and ready to separate, a few small ink stains and some soiling, the condition is fair.
