This study focuses on the Sawaya′erdun Gold Deposit in Wuqia County, Xinjiang. Through an analysis of the metallogenic geological background of the deposit, the main ore body and ores of the IV ore belt were selected as the research subject. Based on extensive sampling and chemical analysis, visible gold in the ores primarily exists in the forms of native gold, silver-bearing native gold, and electrum, hosted within sulfides. Pyrite and arsenopyrite are the main gold-bearing minerals, with gold-bearing rates of 30.38% and 30.53%, respectively. Statistical analysis was conducted on the characteristics of the main gold-bearing minerals, including crystal forms, particle sizes, trace element contents, degrees of fragmentation, and mineral assemblages. This study reveals the enrichment patterns of gold-bearing minerals and their relationship with gold mineralization, providing a scientific basis for the exploration of similar types of gold deposits in the region.
