Diffusion Tensor Imaging values in posterior tibial nerve in healthy controls and in patients with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy: Pre & Post Nerve Mobilization

Diffusion Tensor Imaging parameters namely FA and ADC are the recent radiological investigations used in this study to meaure the extent of posterior tibial neuropathy in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. FA and ADC of healthy controls were also found in this study. Nerve mobilization, nerve massage and continuous transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation was used an intervention. Pain and quality of life in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy were also documented in this study.

本研究采用扩散张量成像参数，即FA（表观扩散系数）和ADC（扩散加权成像的ADC值）作为近期放射学检查手段，以评估糖尿病周围神经病变患者跟腱神经病变的程度。研究还发现了健康对照者的FA和ADC值。干预措施包括神经松动术、神经按摩和持续经皮神经电刺激。此外，本研究还记录了糖尿病周围神经病变患者的疼痛和生活质量。
