This lake has industrial pollution, especially in the sediments, containing iron and arsenic. It is seasonally stratified and typically mixes twice a year. It is used for swimming, boating and fishing and is in an urban environment. This dataset includes both V4 16S rRNA sequencing and shotgun metagenomic sequence libraries.
