More Than a Diagnosis: Uncovering the Stigma of GDM

My PhD research focuses on the emotional impact of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). While much attention is given to the physical management of GDM, the stigma and emotional burden many women carry often go unseen. Through in-depth interviews, my research aims to understand these hidden experiences and contribute to more compassionate care.
