This study analyzed and determined the chloroplast genome of Brassica tournefortii Gouan (Brassicaceae), known as an invasive species. The total length of the genome is 153,167 bp, large single copy region (LSC) of 88,064 bp, a small single copy region (SSC) of 18,549 bp, and two inverted repeat regions (IRs) of 27,122 bp with a GC content of 36.3 %. The genome contains a total of 131 genes, including 86 coding sequences (CDSs), 37 tRNAs, and 8 rRNAs. To investigate the phylogenetic relationship between B. tournefortii and its related species, a maximum likelihood (ML) analysis was conducted based on 78 CDS. The results revealed that B. tournefortii is closely related to B. carinata. This study presents chloroplast genome data for B. tournefortii, serving as a basis for research in various fields, including species identification and utilization, evolutionary studies, and investigations into species invasions.
