Doxorubicin suppresses flow-dependent vasoprotective programs triggering a dysfunctional endothelial cell phenotype. Microarrays were used to profile the transcriptome of Doxorubicin treated endothelial cells exposed to atheroprotective flow HUVEC were exposed to atheroprotective flow for 48h, of which the second 24h with Doxorubicin added to the culture media. Static cultures and non-treated atheroprotective flow cultures were kept as controls. 3 biological replicates were analyzed for a total of 9 samples.
