Transcriptional profiling of Visceral Adipose Tissue (VAT) and splenic Tregs over circadian time

We isolated VAT and splenic Tregs every four hours over twenty-four hours and reported their transcriptome. We found that the expression of core clock genes was upregulated and rhythmic in VAT Tregs compared with splenic Tregs. Additionally, we described hundreds of other genes with rhythmic expression over time. The retired B6 male breeders (>35 weeks old) were housed under strict 12:12 light:dark cycle. CD4+ CD25+ Tregs were double sorted every four hours from the spleen and VAT and processed for RNA-Seq.
