Data for : "Disentangling the effects of parasite infection and temperature on the aerobic swimming performance of sunfish hosts"

This project contains data and metadata for the publication "Disentangling the effects of parasite infection and temperature on the aerobic swimming performance of sunfish hosts" to be submitted in <i>Canadian Journal of Zoology</i><i>.</i> DOI to be included if accepted.We assessed the aerobic swim performance of pumpkinseed sunfish and evaluated the effects of a natural gradient of parasites and temperature (20, 25 and 30°C). We measured critical swimming speed (<i>U</i>_crit) along with metabolic traits : Maximum metabolic rate (MMR), Standard Metabolic Rate (SMR) and Aerobic Scope (AS). There were two experiments. #1 was to evaluate the effects of parasites only and #2 to evaluate the combined effects of parasites and temperature.<br><br>The Main_data file contains all data used in the publication. The metadata file gives additional information on the columns of "Main_data". Different subset files were done (.txt) to facilitate with making figures. The code used for analyses and making figures is included as an R file.
