The Precise Point Positioning Float AR 43 was deployed on 2019-06-07 at Sharp Point. Sharp Point is located on the west coast of Vancouver Island near Tofino. This device is a Precise Point Positioning - Float. These precise point positioning processors are modules as part of an aggregate systems for the Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) installations. Within these processors, specially designed filters are applied to Global Navigation Satellite System and accelerometer input data.
