This layer group describes multibeam echosounder data collected on RV Investigator voyage IN2022_V02, titled "Sedimentation at its extreme: how powerful are submarine caldera-forming eruptions (Kermadec arc)?". The voyage took place between March 19 and April 1, 2022 departing from Hobart (TAS) and arriving in Hobart (TAS).\n\nThe purpose of this voyage is to link the behaviour of deep submarine eruptions with the morphology of their deposits.\n\nThis dataset is published with the permission of CSIRO. Ngāti Kuri, the kaitiaki and mana whenua of Rangitāhua (the customary guardians of Rangitāhua (Kermadec arc)) agree to access to this data for educational, academic and non-commercial use. For other proposed use of the data please seek the free, prior and informed consent of Ngāti Kuri [email: research@ngatikuri.iwi.nz]. Users of this data are asked to acknowledge Ngāti Kuri as kaitiaki and mana whenua of Rangitāhua in any analogue or digital publications resulting from the use of this data. Data is supplied 'as is' without any warranty or guarantee except as required by law to be given to you. ATTRIBUTION STATEMENT: We acknowledge the use of the CSIRO Marine National Facility (https://ror.org/01mae9353 ) in undertaking this research.\n\nNot to be used for navigational purposes.\n\nThe dataset contains bathymetry grids of 10m to 210m resolution of the Kermadec volcanic arc, produced from the processed EM122 and EM710 bathymetry data.\nLineage: The data was gridded at multiple resolution's in python Caris batch script using a Depth filter Vs Resolution guideline derived from AusSeabed Multibeam guidelines v2 and further inspected for outliers. Final raster products are available in L3 folder of this collection. Final processed data were also exported per line as GSF and ASCII format and available in the L2 folder of this collection.\n

本数据集包含基于经处理的EM122与EM710测深数据生成的克马德克火山弧海域水深栅格数据,分辨率范围为10米至210米。
数据溯源:本数据集基于澳大利亚海底多波束指南v2(AusSeabed Multibeam guidelines v2)制定的水深-分辨率阈值规则,通过Python与Caris批处理脚本以多种分辨率进行栅格化处理,并进一步对异常值进行筛查。最终栅格产品可在本数据集集合的L3文件夹中获取。此外,经最终处理的原始测线数据还以GSF与ASCII格式按测线导出,存放于本数据集集合的L2文件夹中。
