The datafiles presented relate to an analysis of patient evaluation data from a feasibility and acceptability study of CBT-AN-20; a novel brief cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT) for adult outpatients with anorexia nervosa. This study was conducted to evaluate patients' experiences of this novel therapy to assess its acceptability and inform future developments. Details of this study are currently available via its OSF preregistration (https://doi.org/10.17605/OSF.IO/6RTSK) and results are in the process of being written up for publication.The documents provided are:The anonymised main dataset (.xlsx and .csv files) showing the survey responses from the 16 patients included in this study. A .spv file with SPSS output data showing the descriptive statistics for the study's quantitative analyses.Two files (.docx Word and .txt) showing the main analyst's coded transcript data in the early stages of the thematic analysis of qualitative data. A .xls file containing the allocation of codes to themes (tab 1) and coded extracts (tab 2) as evidence of later stages of the thematic analysis. Both tabs are also provided as separate .csv files. These documents are intended for reading alongside the published paper, details of which will be provided when available.
