Replication package: When Small Panels Manufacture Significance: Reconsidering the Policy Uncertainty Trap in Renewable Energy and Green Finance in Emerging and Frontier Markets

Data and code to reproduce all results in the revised manuscript (R1). The package builds a 43-country panel of Sub-Saharan African, South Asian and Southeast Asian economies (2013–2023, N = 381) from World Bank WDI and WGI, the World Uncertainty Index, IRENASTAT public investment data and IMF green bond data, applying an explicit inclusion rule to 51 candidate countries. Scripts estimate two-way fixed-effects models with restricted wild cluster bootstrap-t inference (Webb and Rademacher weights), panel diagnostics (Pesaran CD, CIPS), robustness checks and construct-validity tests of the renewable-energy proxy. IMF green bond data (LSEG) are not redistributed; a download script is included.
