资源简介:
This study aims to investigate the transcriptomic profile of polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMNs) isolated from human blood in response to Helicobacter pylori. H. pylori is a gram-negative bacterium and the causative agent of gastritis, peptic ulcers, and gastric carcinoma. PMNs, as the first line of defense in innate immunity, play a vital role in combating pathogens.By employing high-throughput sequencing technologies, we aim to elucidate the differential gene expression patterns that characterize PMN responses during H. pylori infection. PMNs were isolated from the peripheral blood of healthy individuals and subsequently primed using H. pylori ATCC 43504. Total mRNA was extracted and subjected to high-throughput RNA sequencing to generate transcriptomic data. Bioinformatic analyses, including differential expression analysis and pathway enrichment analysis, were performed to identify significant genes and associated biological pathways involved in the immune response. Our objectives include identifying key genes and pathways involved in the immune response and understanding how these responses differ between infected and non-infected individuals. The findings from this research may enhance our understanding of PMN function in H. pylori infections and inform the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at managing gastrointestinal diseases associated with this pathogen.
