Detrital kelp % cover measured in deep regions adjacent to kelp beds before and after Hurricane Earl hit the coast of Nova Scotia in Sept 2010. Data collected with video transects at 8 sites in St Margarets Bay and Sambro Island, near Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Depth (m) and date of transect are recorded.
