Reconstructing large interaction networks from empirical time series data

The R code for implementing MDR S-map and generating synthetic datasets are included. Detailed algorithm of MDR S-map and all necessary functions were provided in the R file recorded in 'Demo_MDR_function.R'. MDR S-map was mainly tested by multi-species Ricker models. To reproduce the main results (Fig. 2), all necessary codes and documents were provided in the file, 'MainResults_RickerModels'. In addition to the i) multi-species Ricker model, we also tested MDR S-map on ii) discrete Lotka-Volterra competition model, iii) Ricker-Beverton-Holt model, and iv) host-parasitoid Nicholson-Bailey model. In addition, time-varying interaction coefficients with seasonal variations were incorporated into all these models, which were also included in the file, 'Additional models'. Detailed analytical guideline was provided in 'Readme.txt' file.<br>
