No choice mating trials and two choice mating trials for Chelymorpha alternans

This dataset was generated to test for mate preference in color pattern in a tortoise beetle, Chelymorpha alternans. The single pair data shows responses for no choice mating trials where males and females were paired with an individual of their own color morph or of a different color morph. Results show the number of eggs produced, the number surviving to the larval stage, the number surviving to the pupal stage and the number of surviving adults. The triad data shows data from a single female housed simultaneously with two males, one of her own color morph and one of another. This data shows the number of offspring and their color phenotype.
