SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL GROUNDS FOR REPLACING MDD SENSORS WITH DSI AND DVS SENSORS IN AIRCRAFT

This article presents the scientific and technical grounds for replacing outdated MDD (Manometric Differential Sensor) systems with modern DSI (True Airspeed Sensor) and DVS (Aircraft Altitude Sensor) systems in the military aircraft. The study covers piezoresistive technology, the ISA (International Standard Atmosphere) model, Bernoulli's equation, the Kalman filter algorithm, and a technical-economic analysis. Results show that DSI/DVS systems are superior to MDD by a factor of 3 in accuracy, 10 in reliability, and 15 in temperature stability.
